DAY
01: ARRIVE DELHI : Welcome in India .On arrival checkin at hotel.Rest
of day is free for personal activities. Overnight at hotel -
DAY 02: DELHI: After breakfast full day city tour. Red Fort - Built
in Red Sand stone this imposing fort is 3 kms in perimeter with the height
of the wall varying from 18 to 30 meters at places. Rashtrapati Bhawan: The
president's mansion is situated on Raisina Hill in the center of Delhi, overlooking
the green lawns around India Gate. This elegant building, is truly worth seeing,
for its architectural beauty and historic significance. The beautiful Mughal
Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhawan, which are open to the public in spring, are
an added attraction. Parliament House: Located in Central Delhi, this elegant
building with its wide pillared walkways and large halls, is worth a visit,
to see the corridors of power where India's lawmakers and statesmen decide
the future of India. Raj Ghat : The memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. India Gate:
Situated on Rajpath, in the center of Delhi, this 42-meter high arch, was
designed by Edwin Lutyens, in memory of the Indian soldiers who sacrificed
their lives during the first World War. Birla Mandir Laxmi Narayan Temple:
It was built by the industrialist Raja Baldev Birla in 1938. The temple is
an important prayer centre and contains idols of several deities. Interestingly,
Mahatma Gandhi, who inaugurated the temple, was also a regular visitor to
it. Bahai Temple: This aesthetically designed monument, commonly known as
the Lotus Temple, because the white marble structure is built to in the shape

03: DELHI/JAIPUR( Drive:260 kms/05 hrs ) : In morning drive to Jaipur
. On arrival checkin at hotel. Afternoon visit City Palace , Hawa Mahal &
Jantar Mantar . Hawa Mahal is one of the most common and popular tourist attractions
in Jaipur. Hawa Mahal was basically used as a veil by the royal women folk
to watch the proceedings on the road below. Today it is the one of most visited
monuments in Jaipur. The City Palace is another beautiful landmark that was
built by Kachchwah Rajput rulers of Jaipur. The City Palace is a classic example
of Mughal and Rajput architecture. A part of the palace today is museum that
houses a collection of rare manuscripts, weapons, Mughal carpets and costumes,
and Mughal and Rajasthani miniatures. Jantar Mantar makes another wonderful
sight to visit. Built in 1718 by Sawai Jai Singh, Jantar Mantar Observatory
is one of the five observatories that were built by the king. The observatory
was built to study the movement of stars. The observatory is built in stone

DAY 04 : IN JAIPUR: - In morning vist Amber Fort is another famous
tourist attraction in Jaipur. The Amber Fort was built by Raja Man Singh in
the 16th century and was completed by Sawai Jai Singh in the 18th century.
The fort offers magnificent views of the surrounding area. The fort is a mix
of Mughal and Rajput architecture and is built in red stone and white marble.
Afternoon visit Laxmi Narayan temple, Ganesh Temple . The Laxmi Narayan is
located in the South of Jaipur, and was built by the Birla family, which is
a major industrialist family of India. This is why, the temple is also called
the 'Birla Mandir'. It is situated quite close to the Moti Doongri fort, which
was converted to a small palace by Ram Singh II and Gayatri Devi. Keeping
in mind the secular nature of the country, the temple has three domes, which
represent different approaches to religion. It is a beautiful white marble
temple, which seems to glow at night.The Birla Mandir in Jaipur attracts many
tourists and devotees every year. The temple is very crowded during the festivals
as Hindus come from all over the state and country to pay their respect to
the Lord. Next time you have a holiday, come to Jaipur and visit the Birla
Mandir, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi (Goddess of Wealth).Overnight

05: JAIPUR/AGRA(Drive: 230kms:05 HRS ) : In morning drive to agra.On arrival
Checkin at hotel. After noon visit the magnificient Taj Mahal - one of the
seven wonders of the world surely the most extravagant expression of love
ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial
to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. Also visit Red fort - the rusty and majestic
red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the
construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Am(hall
of public audience),a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcoveof
inlaid marble at the back,the Emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I-Khas(hall
of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal
ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded peacock Throne and met foreign
ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms .Over night at hotel
DAY ,06: AGRA/ JHANSI
( BY TRAIN Shtabdi #2002 dep at 0815 Arrive at 1040 hrs) / KHAJURAHO ( Drive
:200kms) . Transfer to railway station for connecting train for Jhansi. On
arrival Transfer to Khajuraho ( Enroute visit Orchha ) .On arrival Checkin
at hotel .Evening visit Light show of Khajuraho temple.The beautiful temples
that dot the town of Khajuraho are believed to have been built by the mighty
Chandela rulers in 9th and 10th century AD. The engravings on these temples

DAY ,07: IN KHAJURAHO: In morning visit chandela,s temples..The Kandariya Mahadeo is considered the most evolved example of central Indian temple architecture. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple is also the largest of Khajuraho's temples. The Lakshmana Temple is one of the oldest and finest of the western group of temples. The temple is rather big with four other shrines attached to it. Although the general norm in other temples is three bands of sculpture, this temple has only two. Recurrent themes are battles, hunting and women. The temple of Devi Jagdamba is considered by many of us to be one of the most erotic temples of Khajuraho. The temple houses Khajuraho's most talked-about image, mithuna,and the sensuously carved figures. It is not clear until today as to which deity this temple is dedicated. The temple of Parsvanath is the largest of the Jain temples in Khajuraho and the finest. The temple was originally dedicated to Adinath and latter to Parsvanath. It is the finest example of the sensitive art without any sexual motifs. Near this temple is the temple of Adinath with fine carvings. The temple is quite similar to the Hindu temples of Khajuraho.Over night at hotel

08: KHAJURAHO/VARANASI(BY AIR) : Transfer to airport to board flight for

DAY 09 : IN VARANASI : The city of Varanasi is situated along the
west bank of the Ganges in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Called
Benaras by the British, Varanasi is an important pilgrimage centre for the
Hindus. The city finds mention in the great epics of Mahabharata and Ramayan:
Ghats : The long string of ghats?the chain of stone steps?along the western
bank of the Ganges forms the major attraction of Varanasi . Durga Temple Located
2 kilometres south of the old city, this eighteenth century Durga Temple is
also known as the Monkey Temple due to many aggressive monkeys that reside
here. The temple was built in a common north Indian style with an ornate shikhara,
consisting of five segments symbolizing the elements and supported by finely
carved columns. Bharat Mata Temple. This temple of Bharat Mata (Mother India),
inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi, lies about 3 kilometres west of Godaulia, outside
the old city. Here, instead of gods and goddesses, one finds a huge relief
map in marble of the whole of Indian subcontinent and Tibetan plateau. The
map is said to be perfectly to scale both vertically and horizontally with
mountains, rivers and the holy tirthas (pilgrimage centres) all clearly visible.Tulsi
Manas Temple Built in 1964, the Tulsi Manas Temple stands about 150 m south
of Durga Temple. The temple, dedicated to Lord Rama is situated at the place
where Tulsidas, the great medieval seer, is believed to have lived and written
the great epic. "Shri Ramcharitmanas". The two tier walls of the
temple are engraved with the verses and scenes from this great epic.Banaras
Hindu University One of the oldest educational centres in India, the Banaras
Hindu University was built in 1917. The university was founded by Pandit Madan
Mohan Malviya as a centre for the study of Indian art, culture, music and
Sanskrit. The university campus is spread over five square kilometres and
houses The Bharat Kala Bhavan. The Bhavan has a fine collection of miniature
paintings, sculptures from first to fifteenth centuries, old photographs of
Varanasi and brocade textiles. The campus also houses the New Vishwanatha

11 : KATHMANDU: After Breakfast half day sightseeing of Kathmandu City
visiting Hanuman Dhoka (It is the historic seat of Royalty. The Durbar Square
with its old temples & Palaces epitomizes the religious & cultural
life of the people. It is here that kings of Nepal are crowned & there
coronations solemnized. Interesting things to see here are Taleju Temple built
by King Mahendra Malla in 1549 AD, Kal Bhairav,), Temple of living Goddess
(The temple residence of living goddess, Kumari, is situated in vicinity of
Hanuman Dhoka Palace. The building has been profusely carved with wooden balconies
& window screens. The Kumari- The Living Goddess, acknowledges the greetings
from her Balcony window) and Swayambunath (This is one of the world's most
glorious Buddhist Chaityas. It is said to be 2000 Yrs. old. Painted on the
four sides of the spire bases are the all seeing eyes of lord Buddha.). Visit
Boudhnath Stupa ( This Stupa lies Eight Kms. East of Kathmandu. This colossal
and ancient Stupa is one of the biggest in the world ) and Pashupatinath Temple
(Situated Five Kms. East of Kathmandu, the temple of lord Shiva- Pashupatinath
with two tiered golden roof and silver doors is famous for its superb architecture.
Visitors can clearly see the temple and the activities performed in the temple
premises from Eastern Bank of the Bagmati River). Overnight at hotel.
DAY 12:KATHMANDU: After breakfast, halfday sightseeing tour of Patan
& Tibetan Handicraft Centre/Refugee Camp. Patan: 5km/3miles away from
Kathmandu city. Patan also known as Lalitpur, is the city of fine arts, enclosed
within 4 stupas said to be built in 3rd century AD, by Emperor Ashoka. You
will see the Durbar Square, the Patan Durbar which houses a bronze collection,
the Krishna Temple built by King Siddhi Narsingh Malla, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar
and Mahaboudha Temple. A trip to The Tibetan Refugee Camp and the Handicraft
Centre will also be done while visiting Patan, where you will witness the
hand weaving of Tibetan carpets and moulding of metal statues. Over night

13:KATHMANDU/DELHI( By Air) : Transfer to airport for connecting flight
for Delhi. On arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of day is free for personal
